TLA Releasing Director Everett Lewis Screenwriter(s) Everett Lewis Cast Lance Lee Davis, Tera Greene, Adam Larson, Joe Lia, Allan Louis, Vince Parenti, Joshua Paul Release Date: February 3, 2006 Release: Limited - LA Synopsis: India, a hungry, penniless street kid, agrees to work on a porn shoot for cash. When the pornographer stiffs him for pay, he's beset by two gay bashers. Fleeing his attackers, he runs into a gun-toting drag queen, Destiny, who forces the bashers to their knees. Destiny works with a loose association of drag queens who patrol the streets protecting gays from bashers - and she's not afraid to back up her bravado with bullets fired from her silver pistol! Destiny takes India in off the street, much to the chagrin of her drag king housemate, Lester. When Destiny and her partner subdue an evil gay basher, it turns out to be a local cop working undercover. But the cop doesn't haul Destiny in - even though she has issues with police and the role they have played in gay oppression - he has another agenda. Destiny soon discovers taking India in was a good idea. He's a lonesome figure who trails lovelorn boys behind him like a vapour trail - that includes Spencer, another street kid, who India convinces Destiny would make a good addition to their home. The two boys become happily entwined in their new abode, with even Lester taking a shine to them, now that they're letting her be 'one of the guys'. Spencer, India and Lester hatch a genuis plan to create a provocative graffiti art piece the straight world can't miss. In the meantime, India uncovers the address of one of his attackers. Reluctantly, Spencer agrees to stake out the house with him. Unbeknownst to them, their basher, Guy, is a deeply-closeted queer in love with his best friend (who masterminded the queer bashing) and when confronted by the boys it's the catalyst he needs to change his life. Guy fesses up to his friend, Quentin, with typically fiery results, and Guy decides to leave his world behind and live with India and Spencer. Back at home, Destiny uncharacteristically refuses to let Guy, a former gay basher, live under the same roof as her. Lester unexpectedly comes to his defence and challenges Destiny. She eventually relents, accepting him as a queer she'll deal with. Lester garners Guy the name 'Killer'. Guy's outing, however, has forced his friend Quentin to realise that he, too, has deeply-veiled homosexual feelings. The realisation is too much and he decides to take his life - but not before wiping Guy out first. Out on patrol, Destiny is admitted to hospital after a wrangle with some deadly gay bashers. The local cop shows up in a panic, admitting his undercover operation was merely a ploy to see more of her and get closer to her world. Quentin discovers Guy, India, Spencer and Lester preparing their pro-gay artwork provocation. He threatens to kill Guy, but the other boys step in, unified in defence of their collective queerness. Quentin is completely undone by their stance, and in doing so allows himself to begin a process to accept his own sexual identity.
